Uplift Aerospace (NRP Stone - Symbol: NRPI), is privileged to announce Astronaut Nicole Stott has joined Space+ as an honorary member (Twitter: @Astro_Nicole). Stott is a retired NASA astronaut and engineer who flew with missions STS-128, Expedition 20, Expedition 21, STS-129, and STS-133. Stott lived and worked as a crewmember on both the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle for 104 days - where a personal highlight was painting the first watercolor in space.

Nicole Stott participated in her first engagement with the Space+ community as a speaker during an Astronaut panel on March 3rd, 2022. Stott is an astronaut, aquanaut, artist, mom, and now author of her first book “Back to Earth: What Life In Space Taught Me About Our Home Planet – And Our Mission To Protect It”. On her post-NASA mission, she is a co-founder of the Space for Art Foundation — uniting a planetary community of children through the awe and wonder of space exploration and the healing power of art. Stott creatively combines her spaceflight experience with her artwork to inspire everyone’s appreciation of our role as crewmates here on Spaceship Earth.

Stott will be invited to attend additional virtual and in-person Space+ events to engage with the community, share knowledge about life beyond Earth’s surface aboard the International Space Station, and aid in Space+’s overall mission of increasing access to space. Space+ is releasing an NFT collection later this Fall, called the Starborn collection, where the token itself will double as membership for real-life access to space including suborbital space flights, the International Space Station, and even a community-supported mission to the Moon. Astronaut Stott will be one of the first Space+ members to receive one of the NFTs from the collection and will be provided with an honorary astronaut designation.

Uplift Aerospace aims to integrate past and future astronauts into the Space+ project to create educational opportunities and incredible space experiences for its community.
